Long Lake is classified as an academic summer program. The tuition portion of the cost of summer camp at Long Lake may be either a deduction from your taxable income or a credit to your final Minnesota state tax liability.

We send receipts for tax purposes to parents who pay for their children to attend camp at Long Lake. (Receipts are sent out near the end of the calendar year.)

The total educational tuition cost is figured according to a formula that subtracts costs of food and lodging. Please contact the Minnesota Department of Revenue or a tax professional for more details.
