Mission

Long Lake Conservation Center's mission is to promote wise use of natural resources and foster proper conservation citizenship by making students aware of the interdependence of humans and the environment.

Programs
The Long Lake Experience School Program
Environmental education programs for visiting student groups are taught by professional naturalists and are fully accredited. The "Experience" has been operating since 1972, and serves about 6,000 students each year.
Summer Programs
Kids aged 7 to 17 can participate in week-long summer camps, day camps, and wilderness trips. Summer programs at Long Lake are in their 43rd season.
Retreat Facilities
Our beautiful, comfortable campus is available for rental by adult or youth groups.
Seasonal Naturalists
Pre-professional experience in environmental education offers paid stipend and abundant learning possibilities.
