Birds: Loons were courting, dancing on Lake. Ovenbirds calling. Bald Eagle in White pine on south side of lake now.

8:00 am. Saw Whet Owl perched in a tree along the walkway to the North Star Lodge. It was spotted by students from Dassel-Cokato Middle School.  Some of the students and staff saw it kill a mouse and have it for breakfast.
